l'azienda agricola il castagno � situata
nel cuore del
parco pineta
a tradate, quindi circondata da rigogliosi boschi, ma a soli
dieci minuti di passeggiata a piedi dal centro cittadino.
l'attivit� principale � la coltivazione di piccoli frutti:
lamponi, more, mirtilli e fragole in pieno campo. sono proprio le
coltivazioni a fare da splendida cornice al poggio dov'� situata la
vecchia casetta rurale, con la parte retrostante ristrutturata di
recente.
oltre alle coltivazioni, l'azienda esercita l'allevamento di galline
ovaiole, libere di razzolare in uno spazio all'aperto, solo a loro
dedicato, infatti l'alimentazione � basata su un mangime bilanciato, e
di tutto quello che trovano in natura, come si faceva
una volta. il ricovero di questi animali � quanto di pi� all'avanguardia
nel settore: il pollaio infatti � costruito interamente in alluminio
zincato, quindi interamente lavabile, � dotato di covi che permettono il
recupero delle
 uova
dall'esterno del pollaio stesso.
alle
nostre api abbiamo destinato il bosco di castagni e di acacie, cos� che
in primavera ed estate possono cibarsi del nettare migliore e produrre
ottimo miele.
l'azienda agricola il castagno vende
direttamente i propri prodotti sul posto e, visto la crescente
richiesta, ha inserito una linea di prodotti
biologici.
siamo aperti tutti i giorni come azienda agricola tranne il luned�
mattina e il mercoled� (domeniche e festivi compresi)
